We're Not in Seyrunn Anymore

lol I had too much fun with this! XDD

Lina and Pokota end up in a mysterious world similar to Oz after being caught up in a Dragon Slave. As they come to their senses, Lina looks to Pokota and says, "Pokota? I have a feeling we're not in Seyrunn anymore." Pokota replies sarcastically, "Ya think so Flatty?!" Lina then proceeds to beat the bunny/Cairn Terrier up. From there she finds she has killed the Wicked Witch of the East (whose probably Martina but I was too LAZY to put her and half the other characters mentioned in) and thus has freed the munchkins who are governed by the giant dwarf Philionel and his clingy brother Christopher. She of course finds out all of this thanks to the Good Witch Filia who carries a mace and hates the monster (Xellos) who lives next door to her because he calls her a fake and says she wears too much pink. The munchkins rejoice at the death of the one who plagued their fair land and proclaim Lina as the Witch Killer. Lina of course, tries to explain that it was all an accident but they don't listen to her. Eventually, the celebration is broken by the Wicked Witch of the West (who of course is Eris. Come on! She's great for the part! XDD;; ) who doesn't really mourn for her "sister" and in fact doesn't care at all about her and only wants those damn shoes. Why? Because she thinks The Wizard's legacy is hidden in those shoes (Who wants to guess who the Wizard is? ). Anywho, Lina refuses and calls her a psychotic, obsessed bitch and Pokota of course replies the same way saying that The Wizard's legacy should only go to help him restore Taforashia or something like that. So now the Witch wants to kill that "little pretty and her boisterous bunny too"! Filia directs her to the Yellow Brick Road and she and Pokota head off to see the Wizard.

Along the way, the two run into a series of characters. The first is Gourry The Scarecrow. He's as dumb as they come (especially since he doesn't have a brain) however, he seems to be a great swordsman. Next, they meet Zelgadis The Chimera Man with a tin body. He's upset because the Wizard turned him into a chimera/tin person and was looking for a cure to turn his body back to normal. So he joins up with the others so he can have a little chat with the Wizard about restoring his body. Finally, they meet Amelia, the Cowardly Lioness. She wants to fight for justice but she's so scared that she'll get hurt. From that point on, they all are on their way to the Wizard's kingdom.

The party goes through several obstacles including close enocunters with Eris The Wicked Witch but they somehow end up in the Emerald City. After making a scene to see The Wizard (they practically killed the doorman who is played by Mr. Rossburg *refer to Season 1*), they head down the hallowed halls to meet The Wizard. However, when they get there, The Wizard tells them that his powers are low because he's depressed and that they must fetch something for him in order for him to grant their requests. What does he ask them to get? He asks for them to bring The Witch to him for he just needs her to come in order to get his powers for some reason that even I can't figure out.

So they head to The Witch's castle. On their way there, Lina and Pokota are captured by Eris's flying monkey's Zangulus, and Vrumugun. Of course, Gourry duels with Zangulus and Gourry ends up winning but not without being ripped apart. So as Zelgadis and Amelia are patching up Gourry, Lina and Pokota are taken to Eris's castle. Once inside, Eris threatens Lina to give up the shoes or she let's Pokota drown. Lina answers that she really doesn't care in an effort of seeing if Eris is just bluffing and to get back at Pokota for his "Flatty" comment earlier. She soon realizes that Eris is not bluffing, especially when she tells her she's going to kill Lina. Luckily, Pokota escapes to go find the others. Of course, Eris doesn't care because by the time the rescue party arrives Lina should be dead.

The group eventually finds Pokota and the bunny/dog takes them back to The Witch's castle. Meanwhile, in the castle, Lina is devising a scheme to get her out of this fix. As Eris watches Lina supposedly suffer, Lina shoots some questions the The Witch asking things like, "Why do you want these shoes that badly?" and "What's your affiliation with the Wizard?" (or maybe that's more of my own question lmao XDD). So Eris goes into a UBER HUGE RANT on how she loves The Wizard and how she wants to be his lover, or one and only, or something along those lines. As to how that applies to the shoes, she wants to impress him by giving them to him personally for she once worked side by side with The Wizard. However, between his legacy being stolen by The Wicked Witch of the East and him creating a doll secretary (Ozel and thus a reincarnation of his late wife lol) she went off the deep end and became The Wicked Witch of the West. So when Lina asks her to just come with them to see The Wizard because he asked for her in the first place, Eris immediately spares Lina her life and the two go off to join her comrades (who were just about to sneak in themselves). Let's just say it's better than Lina's other approach, using a Dragon Slave on the castle so she can escape.

When they arrive to The Emerald City, The Wizard of course is very pleased with the group that they successfully brought The Witch to him without needing to take drastic measures (as in melting her and/or having a copy of him kill her). So The Wizard and The Witch talk for a bit alone with one another and The Wizard tells The Witch that he cares about her and was highly concerned of her well-being when she left. Eris explains how she feels and while The Wizard doesn't feel for her as passionate as she does for him, he does care about her and would like to have a bit more of a relationship with her (whether it be romantic or not I'll let you decide). Eris feels like she's about to melt, so in some sort of sick lovey dovey voice she moans, "I'm melting! I'm melting! Oh, what a world! What a world!" Amelia asks The Wizard if she'll be alright and he assures her saying that she just fainted and that she's a bit infatuated with him.

The Wizard then grants them all their wishes. Of course, in similar circumstances to the original movie, The Wizard tells them that they've always had brains, a heart, and/or courage the whole time. However, he always gave them a token of his appreciation. The reader also finds out that the Chimera/Tin Man is The Wizard's great grandson. He apologizes for turning his boy into a chimera/tin person and begs for forgiveness. Of course, his grandson accepts his heart-felt apology and now they're working to find his cure. Along the way, the Chimera/Tin Man and the Lioness fell in love. With their first kiss, Amelia turned into a human! And not just any human! The princess of so-called Munchkin Land! Apparently, she got a spell casted on her and somehow it made her afraid of the kingdom and thus made her cowardly. Lina and The Scarecrow kind of had a thing going on but of course, Lina wanted to stay loyal to Gourry (who was practically the same person) so no relationship really took off. So now comes the time for Pokota and Lina to return to Seyrunn and for Pokota to just turn back into his normal bunny sort of self. Yet, before The Wizard (heck can I just say it's Rezo?) takes off in one of his crazy contraptions that was designed to cure his blindness but of course failed, Filia graces their presence. She tells Lina that she always had the power to go home and tells her to click her heels three times and say, "There's no place like home" repeatedly. After saying goodbye to their new friends, Lina and Pokota return to Seyrunn where of course they have the "and you were there, and you were there too" moment. And of course Lina says, "There's no place like home. Hey! I should go back to Zefilia sometime!"

Don't worry! All the Oz characters had a happy ending too! The Chimera/Tin Man finally found his cure thanks to The Wizard and married Amelia. Together they rule Munchkin Land and Philionel has since retired. The Scarecrow now is The Wizard's new secretary (there was a little problem with Eris and Ozel) even if he is a bit slow. Eris and Ozel didn't get along at first (more like Eris didn't get along with Ozel), but now tolerate each other to a degree. They both realize that they can both help The Wizard and strive to do whatever it takes to make him happy. Talk about teamwork!!

OH MAH GOSH! I practically wrote a freakin' story!

Now, to the drawing I suppose. This is a challenge piece for . The idea is to make a Slayers Crossover. This project has been on the back burner for a year, so I decided to actually do it. I may do some more later lol! This all began as one big sketchdump and somehow ended up as this. I'm not too pleased with Amelia considering I don't draw anthro and by the time I had Lina, Gourry, and Zel in there was hardly any room! Sorry Amelia I'll draw a better picture of you soon. Overall, though I'm happy how it turned out.

I do apologize for the length of this comment box. I'll try not to do that too often. Now my wrists hurt from all that typing!
