I know this isn't the best photo, but I love it anyway. Not to mention (one can't really tell in this photo) he's on his back legs in this photo. Super cute!
Teddy had a bath today and because his puppy coat is short (his coat probably won't grow in fully until he's two years old) and it's cold outside now, I put a shirt on him (even though he stayed in the house to ensure full warmth). I also took his collar off to prevent it from getting wet and to let the fur on his neck breath.
Teddy is our Border Collie/Golden Retriever puppy. He is 5 months old in this photo. We adopted him from a reputable rescue that I highly recommend in Yakima, WA on November 3rd of last year (2012). In addition to Teddy, we adopted another dog from the same rescue back in late June of 2012, our "middle child", Nellie (Border Collie/Australian Shepherd). For more info. on the rescue and a list of adoptable dogs (all who are awesome) please visit this link [link]. I hope to go back this spring or summer (with Teddy in tow) to volunteer. In the meantime, I am sending care packages of blankets and dog toys (which are always needed).
